Scott Holmes, CEO and founder of Teton didn't have the best experience being outdoors as a child. Rain soaked and cold, he realized many of his bad memories were the result of using gear that was uncomfortable, unreliable, and difficult. He resolved to change this not only for himself but for the millions of others who want to enjoy the outdoors. He wanted to make the outdoors accessible to all, which also meant prices that everyone could afford. So he set out to build great quality gear at fraction of the expected price.
