Marketing veteran’s 15-year career brings new enthusiasm and expertise to Teton board.
SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 15, 2024 — Teton, a leading outdoor gear manufacturer renowned for comfortable, dependable products that are easy to set up and easy on the wallet, today announced the hiring of Jeremy McLerran as vice president of marketing and member of the executive team. Prior to joining Teton, McLerran led global marketing efforts at Johnson Controls and directed comprehensive marketing strategies for Qolsys Inc.

During McLerran’s 15-year career, he has led marketing efforts at companies across a wide variety of industries. In his role as senior director of marketing at Qolsys, he assisted the Silicon-Valley-based tech company grow to capture 80% market share before it was sold to Johnson Controls in 2020 for more than $4 million. McLerran was named senior director of global marketing for Johnson Controls, managing more than 20 brands across North America, LATAM, EMEA and APAC. After leaving Johnson Controls in 2022, he founded a consulting firm named 11-11 Marketing through which he supported a variety of businesses to refine their marketing foundation and successfully grow in the wake of the pandemic.

At Teton, McLerran will lead and support all aspects of the company’s marketing strategies and operations. His responsibilities include product promotion, strategy implementation and overseeing the company’s marketing team, contractors and agencies while establishing the path for Teton’s expansion.
