I would not truly call this a 0F bag but it’s definitely my first choice for winter camping when the expected temps are around the freezing mark. It’s also very light and has become my go-to sleeping bag for summer missions when I know it’ll get cold overnight and I don’t want to even consider the possibility of being cold. Took it to basecamp elevations during summer alpine climbs on Baker, Rainier and other Cascades. Worth the money, just don’t bank on it as a 0F.

To clarify how we rate our sleeping bags, most of our bags are rated for their extreme temperatures. For this particular bag, the extreme rating is 0°F, but the comfort rating is 30°F. As a general rule, we recommend adding around 30 degrees to the extreme rating to find the comfort rating—the temperature at which most people will stay comfortably warm. Of course, this can vary based on your personal preferences and how your body regulates temperature. We suggest starting with the comfort rating and adjusting from there as you get to know how the bag performs for you.

This bag fits me well with some wiggle room. I doubt I will be summer backpacking with nights below freezing, but I sleep cold so this will be a luxury. I have Teton Sports backpacks for trips (Explorer 75 and 85, for use with different size tents) and this sleeping bag compresses enough to fit in the bag department in both packs. All features are functional. I keep this laid out flat under my bed, making it always ready for a quick pack into pack and will quickly be ready for use after a day hiking.

A super lightweight bag that is comfortable and warm! I used it in 20 degree weather with 2 inches of snow on my tent and I was surprised at the warmth. Would recommend, though I would wait for a sale since I bought it for $80!

I've been using this 4 seasons for the last couple of years. It pairs well with either my milsurp bivvy or hammock. My only complaint is that it isn't available in more natural colors. Keep up the good work, guys.

I was skeptical at first because of the light weight of this bag but I used this bag in 24F degree weather at night in the mountains of PA and I have to say I was pleased with its performance. I was very warm and it was super comfortable. I didn't have to use a second bag or blanket which was nice. It's cold at first because it's not a flannel lining but if you get a micro fleece lining for this bag, it turns into an oven. I don't plant to get out in much colder weather so I think I found a keeper.
