Sierra Canvas Tent

My 20 foot Sierra canvas tent completely leveled up my camping game! Nothing has made our camping experience better than this awesome bell tent. I totally recommend it if you’re looking to have the most room and the most comfort while being protected from the elements. I get compliments every time I set it up!

The tent is very durable, good quality material all for a very reasonable price. It was raining the first week I put it up and not a single drop went through. It has also experienced some heavy wind gusts. Set up was also fairly simple for its size. I got the 20’ diameter. I thought the 16 might do but I’m glad I went with my instincts because I’m using this for lots of room and space and due to its TP like shape sloping down limiting actual standing area, the extra 114 ft.² really does matter depending on what you’re using the tent for?

I wanted to give it a good test run, so my son and I set it up in the back yard. I think what took the longest was tying the guy ropes to the tent. Since that is a one time deal, I foresee future setups going much faster.

Setting up the tent was quite easy and straightforward, and it is SO roomy inside. We have to XXL Teton cots set up inside along with a hammock stand and there is still plenty of space for chairs, tables, gear, etc.

We spent the night in it with temps in the 20's and no method to heat inside. The temp was cold, but we were cozy in our cots and sleeping bags.

I have been quite impressed with the quality of the material, we've had some rain (not a whole lot) and I haven't found one drop of moisture inside the tent.

This is a nice well made tent. It was easy to put up and down. Can’t wait for real camping.

Overall, the tent is very roomy!! We have 4 kids. Two of them are teens. We also have a 5 and 3 year old. Even with all those people, we still fit our luggage and had more room leftover. I'm about 6 feet tall and I didn't really have to do a lot of bending over to get around in the tent.

The craftsmanship will definitely last you for a couple generations.

One complaint. The stakes used to stake down the main floor bent the rivets, due to their style. The company needs to address this, or people will have to re-rivet those areas sooner than later.

Couldn’t ask for a better tent

For the money, this tent is hard to beat. HD zippers, thick and detachable floor, and it goes up ridiculously quick. Comes down and packs up just as easy. Just got home from a weekend camping trip with very fair weather so I can't say how it holds up in rough conditions yet. First time out and it performed very well. 4 XL cots is a little tight but doable.

We got the 16' Sierra Canvas Tent for our boys' four day excursion. Incredible quality in the tent, zippers and stakes. Everything is what you want for a durable tent. 16 feet is very spacious but also heavy so not something to carry long distances. It looks like a 'glamping' tent with the center pole and shades of tan colors. We had a large, tent safe heater and it worked great in single digit temperatures with high winds.

This fits my family of 4 perfectly. I am 6 feet tall and have room to stand up in the center which makes working or changing clothes so much easier. We tested it out in Zion National Park and the Sierra 12 easily accommodated a double wide sleeping pad, a single pad, blankets, luggage, and a space heater with some room to spare. Speaking of the space heater, this tent kept us warm when the outside temperature dropped to 32°F/ 0°C. With a small space heater, the tent was able to maintain temperature in the upper 50s so this tent did amazing at keeping in the heat on a cold night.
