I like the tent, but without a tarp it is a fair weather tent.
I don't like the fact that you should put the cot under the tent, as this means, it gets damp and wet in rain. The elite rain fly velcro closes but still lets water in a corners.
An extra tarp is also required in rain as there is no real vestibule.
I have a bad hip, so I put a narrow air mattress in center cot sag so it is easier to get out.
If you get past the above, it's a great little tent, extremely easy to set up and take down. You can store small things under if you use it on a cot.
There is a small net in ceiling I found using a small bag to hold stuff works best as otherwise my glasses, flashlight etc fall off mesh when rolling around at night.
I'm 5'6", I wouldn't want to be much taller if your a back sleeper.
It works perfect for me when I car camp.

I bought the tent, the cot and mattress as well as the cover that goes all the way to the ground. I spent 4 nights in it comfortable and bug free. My first night I slept without the cover and it was heavenly. But due to chance of rain I used the cover.

I read some reviews that said people were comfortable in this tent. It is so easy to set up and I love that. But there is room for you and your sleeping bag and that is all. It kind of felt like sleeping in a coffin. I travel on a motorcycle and I wanted something lightweight and easy to set up. It is that! And I do love that. But it is way too small for any extras in the tent with you. This is perfect if you're camping with a kid or you have a car with you to store your gear. But I do not recommend it for motorcycle camping. The quality was good and I'm looking for another tent from this site, just a bit bigger.

This is a quick and easy set up and works like a charm with my Teton cot. Using it as just a bug screen, or protection from the weather, there is plenty room inside.

I bought this tent to be part of a roof top tent set up I made for my RAV4. I originally purchased it from Amazon and after having some issues with the one from Amazon I reached out to Teton for help. They came through big time and got me a new tent at the discounted price I’d paid on Amazon and got it delivered just in time for my first trip with the roof top platform. Teton saved the day and the tent is seriously the easiest tent I’ve ever used. I love it!

Did a 3 night camp out in AZ desert. Set camp up and did not think twice about it. Purchased the extended rain fly as well as the cot storage hammock. Nice to have my shoes off the desert ground.

This tent is of very good quality. I am using it for motorcycle camping and (packing) size is always a concern!
But I may have compromised a bit much going 'single person' as my 6'2" frame makes for tight quarters.
Boy, other than that this tent rocks! First night out had rain and very cool temps. Set-up was (of course) super simple and even though my head & feet were pushing, everything was cozy inside. My other 'quick tent' is not nearly as well made but roomier as a 2 person style.
I very well may upgrade.
PS. My Teton sleeping bag & footprint also worked flawlessly!

I bought two of these for my son and I while planning a trip. These fit directly on the cots and were so easy to set up. Record time with getting camp set up. Already planning more trips and even without the cots!! Highly recommend!!

I'm 6'3" and I set this up on the Teton XXL Cot with the Teton mattress pad. My feet and head just brushed the ends of the tent. I will say that the mattress pad is too wide when placing it inside the tent on top of the cot. It put a lot of strain on the tent, which actually collapsed on me at 3AM in the morning!
So the next day I took the foam out of the fabric, and cut off about 3" of the width of the pad and reinstalled into the tent. The fit was perfect for the tent, and suffered no more collapses of the tent the next 4 nights.
I spent one night with the extended rainfly off and it was awesome to see the stars. I left it on the rest of the nights because of threat of rain.
I have yet to try the tent on the ground.
TetonJul 27, 2022Hi David, I'm so glad you love your setup! Just so you know, the pad fits best outside of the tent, between the tent and the cot. This also maximizes space inside the tent so you don't lose any room!
